3 Doors Down

Biography

3 Doors Down is an American rock band formed in Escatawpa, Mississippi, in 1994 by three school friends – Brad Arnold, Matt Roberts and Todd Harrell. During their career, 3 Doors Down have performed with such artists as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Staind, Nickelback, Alter Bridge, Breaking Benjamin, Seether, Shinedown and Daughtry. The band has also sold over 13 million albums in the United States alone, although they had to wait for six years to release their first album. According to the band members, they started with a repertoire of four songs: "One by Bush, one by Metallica and a couple of originals". Brad Arnold firstly was a drummer, but he started singing full time for the band after a concert where no one else would sing except for him and he "ended up enjoying it".
