3 Doors Down’s becoming

Nowadays 3 Doors Down are well-known to all lovers of rock music. They got fame and, which is more important, acknowledgement of listeners after releasing the debut studio attempt titled The Better Life in 2000. Since that time 3 Doors Down’s discography was enlarged by not less interesting works, while such compositions as The Road I'm On, Behind Those Eyes, Let Me Go and many others proved to be real tried and true hits. However it turned out to be difficult for the rockers to compete with their own success. When a young band issues an album, which leaves behind records of their famous colleagues, a curious situation takes place. Both critics and music lovers expect that band to present works of the same high quality as the incredible debut work had. The practice shows that musicians do not succeed in that every time.

Time Of My Life, or the breath of fresh air

The self titled album of 2008 did not get excellent reviews from experts; however the band’s fans did not share the critics’ opinion. Nevertheless, that record was quite distant from the level of The Better Life. But it seems that now the rockers found strength to make a truly amazing album. The long play does not have any kind of intro, but it probably would be something out of place here. The album’s opening act is the track Time Of My Life, and it does sound powerful. It is followed by When You're Young, which starts as an acoustic ballad, and then gradually turns into energetic rock song. There is no doubt that Race For The Sun will become the band’s new super hit. Actually 3 Doors Down already have a big number of bright and rememberable songs, so the compilation of their best compositions will be a really called-for one. Sure thing that 3 Doors Down just could not ignore the love theme: beautiful composition She Is Love will please connoisseurs of lyrics and romance. In fact, the rockers always knew how to combine lyrics with energy, melodiousness and drive. Thus, their song Believer is an excellent example of classic American rock.

The new level

In one of the interviews the vocalist Brad Arnold noted that the sound of Time Of My Life became the way heavier, and that the band was eager to move forward. Well, it can be easily proved that the musicians totally succeeded. 3 Doors Down’s signature style did not disappear, but at the same time it absorbed some new elements. The general sound has always been great, but now it became even richer. During the career 3 Doors Down established a reputation of professionals, and their passion to music was realized in their songs. After several long plays that were not so successful, 3 Doors Down managed to record one of their best works so far. Yes, one of the best, as soon as Time Of My Life turned out to be perfect in many ways. Now the fans will be waiting for not less fascinating continuation from 3 Doors Down, so the rockers will have to work really hard to satisfy all expectations.
