Chris Isaak’s interests are quite wide

Chris Isaak is well known to many people as a musician, first of all. However the performer also features in films, he used to have a TV show and in general Chris is quite a diversified person. He has always been hard working, and this quality is a necessary element of a creative development. In combination with talent and incredible charisma, ambitiousness and purpose of Isaac brought the well-formed and logical results. Step by step, many people started to get to know the artist, while his compositions were gaining popularity. Chris got his fame not in a short period of time; the musician was walking towards his long-cherished goal gradually. Thus, his very first loud hit called Blue Hotel conquered listeners’ hearts. However the musician presented to the listeners not just one or a few excellent compositions. During the career, Chris wrote and performed a great number of songs, which deserved their right to be called classics of rock nowadays. That list definitely includes the famous ballad Wicked Game, vivacious rock’n’roll Great Balls Of Fire, Ring Of Fire and many, many others. Chris was entitled “modern Elvis”, and definitely it is difficult to argue with that. Spectacular appearance, passion for music and amazing voice – it is not a surprise that Isaac was listed among the best artists of the twentieth century. Chris pleased his fans with the new record titled Beyond The Sun in 2011. Now it is time to get to know it better.

The new look at the old songs

So, the release of the record Beyond The Sun finally took place. It includes songs, which are well-known to Chris’ old fans, but it certainly does not mean that the album is some kind of a copy of the artist’s previous works. This is a completely brand new compilation of Isaac’s best creations, and it will become a perfect guide to his creativity. Thus, the long play’s opening act is a famous song Ring Of Fire, one of Isaac’s best recognizable compositions. It is followed by blues-rock Trying To Get You that introduces the summer song I Forgot To Remember To Forget, which takes listeners to some place in the coast of California. Chris Isaak is a respected ballads master, and the lyrical Can't Help Falling In Love is another proof of that fact. Nevertheless, the album in general is in the bright, major mood - Miss Pearl, Live It Up and many other vivacious songs will not give you a single second of boredom. Those lucky ones, who will get the special Deluxe edition will be especially happy, because eleven bonus tracks are nothing but a serious argument. The famous hit Oh, Pretty Woman, rhythmic Doncha' Think It's Time and a little bit sad That Lucky Old Sun are about to become a great addition to someone’s musical collection.

Outstanding choice of hits of Beyond The Sun

Time is an excellent criterion for music quality determination. Some songs will be forgotten within just two years, while others, on the contrary, do not lose their applicability and topicality even after decades pass by. And Beyond The Sun included the time-tested songs, which are also tested and loved by various generations of listeners. Chris’ old fans will enjoy recalling their favorite songs, and those who have not had a chance to get acquainted with this musician’s creativity will be pleased by getting something new. Good old rock’n’roll in all its shapes and forms firmly stands its ground. The live music and sincere lyrics had always found its listeners, and luckily the situation has not changed so far. Beyond The Sun is a good example of how the honest, vivacious and full of emotions music should sound like.
