Biography
The American alternative band Incubus have got a rich concert experience and a considerable selection of studio albums, which made them one of the best representatives of the genre so much popular in the new millennium. The group assembled in 1991 in a little Californian town with the lineup uniting old school friends. At the break of their creative life, the musicians followed Red Hot Chili Peppers and played the stuff far different from what they developed in the next years. Gradually, the young men began adding to their music elements of thrash metal, grunge and alternative rock to build up their own style with the weakest possible influence. After finishing school, they went into active touring with regular concerts all over the state of California. In 1995, Incubus recorded and released independently the Fungus Amongus album. Solid connections and strong support helped the group get in touch with a affiliate of Epic to sign a contract quickly.
