Biography
Kate KT Tunstall was born in Scottish capital on June 23, 1975. Her biological mother, half Chinese, having given the birth to the child from an Irishman, refused from the daughter. The girl was immediately adopted by a family of pedagogues. KT grew up with two brothers and got a good education, taking an active part in exchange students' programmes. In her twenties KT decided to become a rock star and started singing in different indie groups. She did not get into the limelight though one of the bands she played in, Red Light Stylus, was praized by critics. KT made up her mind to look for other ways and started a solo career. The singer started writing music and lyrics herself. She became famous for her live performances with the full band, playing the guitar with high masterity and affection.
