American pop singer and actor Adam Lambert denied reports that he is set to join Queen as a new frontman. Last week several newspapers reported that Lambert named himself new Queen's vocalist and promised to go on a world tour with the band.
However, recently Adam Lambert said that his words were taken out of context, and the phrase about "singing for Queen" referred to their joint performance at MTV Europe Music Awards 2011 ceremony.
Message on Adam Lambert's Twitter account says: "Oooh, the clever reporters taking my quotes outta context... I haven't confirmed any guest appearances. I was talking about the EMAs. That being said, I'm truly flattered by your jump to such glorious conclusions Mr Journalist".
Adam Lambert is set to release new album Trespassing next month.
