Adele returned to performing after suffering from acute laryngitisAdele has performed a solo gig in London last night, July 7. It has become her first live show since the beginning of June when she had to cancel her US tour due to acute laryngitis. Singer has been ordered to stop singing – and even talking – by her physicians. She needed to take care of her vocal cords at least for a month to prevent dealing a serious damage to her voice.

However, according to Adele herself, she has completely recovered from her illness.

Adele performed songs both from her debut album 19 and second effort 21 that has hit the stores this year. She also played a cover on the track I Can't Make You Love Me by American blues singer Bonnie Raitt.

Adele's single Someone Like You was praised as the first single in UK to sell more than one million copies this decade. Meanwhile, singer's second studio effort 21 is the biggest selling album this year.
