Alexandra Burke's single was sold a million copiesAlexandra Burke's debut single Hallelujah was sold over a million copies in the UK. Thereby, it became the tenth million-seller single since the turn of the millennium.

Hallelujah is a cover of Leonard Cohen's song originally released on his 1984 album Various Positions. All in all, there were more than 180 versions of this song recorded by various artists. Alexandra Burke, X Factor winner, released her cover of Hallelujah in December 2008.
