Arcade Fire have taken part at the Bridge School Benefit charity festival that took place in California last weekend. During the show the band teamed up with Neil Young – together they performed track Helpless, written by legendary rock musician in 1969.
Later Neil Young joined Beck to play his 1979's song Pocahontas. The event also featured Mumford And Sons, Norah Jones, Pearl Jam singer Eddie Vedder and more.
Bridge School Benefit is an annual festival held since 1986. In different years it featured performances by Elton John, Bob Dylan, The Who, Sonic Youth and many others. All proceedings from the shows are donated to charity organizations that assist children with severe physical impairments and complex communication needs.
