Barack Obama has taken part in the recording of the song Let's Stay Together by American gospel and soul music singer Al Green. US president recorded first line for the composition that is set to become the official track of his re-election campaign.
It was also revealed that producers of American talent TV show American Idol have already contacted Barack Obama asking him to perform the track together with Al Green during one of the programs.
"We loved your vocal performance so much we'd love to invite you on to American Idol this season for a duet with Al Green", says their message posted on Obama's official Twitter account.
