USA president Barack Obama revealed that he was a big Michael Jackson fan through his life. Obama even claimed that he still has all of Michael Jackson's music on his iPod. «Jackson has been given extraordinary gifts. He bought great joy to his fans», claimed the president during an interview at the White House.
«But brilliance as a performer also was paired with a tragic and, in many ways, sad personal life», added Barack Obama.
Earlier Barack Obama has officially paid respects to Michael Jackson’s family. According to a White House spokesman, Obama felt Jackson was a «music icon» and «spectacular performer». At the same time, President considered Michael Jackson’s life to be «sad and tragic».
A list of politicians who paid tribute to Jackson over the last even days includes British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, UK’s opposition leader David Cameron and others.
