BRIT Awards ceremony was held in London. Welsh singer Duffy became the most successful artist, wining three awards – including Best Album for her debut release Rockferry. She also was honored as Best Female Solo Artist and Best Breakthrough Artist.
Duffy became the first female singer to ever win three awards in the same year, and only Blur, in 1995, has ever won more awards at a single ceremony.
The ceremony was hosted by a number of celebrities, including Kylie Minogue, who also performed song Can't Get You Out Of My Head. The list of performers featured U2, Coldplay, Take That, Duffy herself and more.
