Roxy Music singer Bryan Ferry revealed release details about his next solo album. Titled Olympia, it is set to hit the stores in October. The cover of the album features famous supermodel Kate Moss and reflects the 19th century Edouard Manet painting named "Olympia".
Bryan Ferry said: "Kate Moss has long been the femme fatale of our age, as controversial as she is beautiful, and the most glamorous female icon since Marilyn Monroe".
The album will feature eight new songs, as well as covers on Tim Buckley's Song To The Siren and Traffic's No Face, No Name, No Number.
Bryan Ferry's previous album Dylanesque was released in 2007.
Last month Bryan Ferry announced that Roxy Music may release several new songs before going on a reunion tour next year. He revealed that they did not have enough material for the album, but there are some tracks they would like to deliver to their fans.
"It's very, very hard to make a convincing record at this stage of your musical journey. Who wants to listen to albums any more? People listen to the tracks they like. Maybe we should do a track or to and do them as downloads. That will be an interesting approach", said he.
