Coachella festival visitors will be able to board a free train in Los Angeles to arrive to Indio, where the festival will be held on April 25-27. Paul Tollett, president of Goldenvoice company, which organizes the event, said: «I think it's the first time we have ever done anything like this for a music festival».
Tollett added that the idea is based on a European model where several festival-goers use trains to reach their destination. This year Coachella festival will feature such performers as Portishead, Kraftwerk, The Verve, Fatboy Slim and others.
