Coldplay held their promise to play several tracks from their next studio album at Glastonbury festival. The band's yesterday performance featured three entirely new songs – Hurts Like Heaven, Up Against The World and Charlie Brown.
Chris Martin and his bandmates also played Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall – the first single from upcoming studio effort.

Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall
Earlier Coldplay revealed that Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall has been inspired by Australian singer and songwriter Peter Allen. According to Chris Martin, he has written the composition after watching a scene from Beautiful movie, where Allen's song I Go To Rio plays at the background.
Coldplay's previous album Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends hit the stores in 2008.
Held during June 24-26, Glastonbury festival also featured performances by Beyonce, U2, Elbow, Primal Scream, The Chemical Brothers and others.
