Coldplay revealed that they would be experimenting with rave music on their new album. The band’s frontman Chris Martin joked that it was a result of drummer Will Champion’s buying a drum machine.
«He’s got a new drum machine and has been having a lot of fun pushing it to its limits», said Martin.
Martin added that Champion had already created a song in seven-four time rhythm for the album. «It’s only the most adventurous of jazz people who compose anything with such an irregular beat», claimed he.
Upcoming record will be produced by Brian Eno. Coldplay previous record Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends hit the stores in 2008.
The band is also going to perform at London’s Wembley Stadium later this year together with Jay-Z and Girls Aloud.
