Corey Taylor is not sure if Slipknot can release new albumSlipknot frontman Corey Taylor claimed that he is not sure if the band can record another album. Singer claimed that he would like to make another studio effort, but other members are still considering this opportunity.

"I feel better about it, but I'm still kind of on the fence. We're taking baby steps and we're going to take our time", claimed he.

Corey Taylor also said he has enjoyed Slipknot performance at Sonisphere festival last Sunday, July 10. It featured the minute of silence to commemorate bassist Paul Gray, who was found dead in a hotel room in Des Moines, Iowa in June 2010. According to toxicology tests, the cause of death was an accidental overdose.

"I did enjoy the show, thank you to everyone who came and everyone who participated in the minute of silence for Pauly, he would have been so proud", said singer.

Earlier Slipknot percussionist Shawn Crahan claimed that the band would like to start the work on the new album in the nearest future.

Slipknot last to date album All Hope Is Gone hit the stores in 2008.
