French electronic duo Daft Punk has unveiled one of the songs from its upcoming album. Titled Derezzed, it sounds in the trailer for the new Tron: Legacy movie. You can watch the video here. Derezzed also will be included in the soundtrack of the film itself – as well as the other songs from the album.
Earlier movie's director Joseph Kosinski said: "Daft Punk were the obvious choice for us. If you talk about computers, you can not think of anything but Daft Punk".
The record is set to hit the stores on November 22, with the film's premiere scheduled for December 17.
According to Daft Punk, several tracks were recorded in London with an orchestra featuring 100 musicians. Earlier it was revealed that the band has composed 24 songs for the film, however, it is unknown, how much of them were chosen for the soundtrack.
The film will also feature several tracks by other musicians, such as Journey's song Separate Ways.
TRON: Legacy itself is a sequel to the 1982's film TRON. It tells about young man trapped in a digital world where he is looking for his father.
Upcoming movie will represent first full cinematic film score for Daft Punk.
