Foo Fighters' frontman Dave Grohl revealed details about his recent collaboration with former Nirvana bandmate Krist Novoselic. Titled I Should Have Known, it is set to be included in the band's upcoming album.
According to Dave Grohl, it will be "the darkest song" on this studio effort. "I thought it would sound great with his bass-playing and accordion-playing. It’s probably the darkest song on the album", claimed he.
Dave Grohl added: "We’ve always been in touch. One of the things about the expanded Nirvana family, it doesn’t matter how much time has passed, when you see each other you're immediately connect by that, by the good and bad things".
Earlier Dave Grohl claimed that the album's track Dear Rosemary was recorded in collaboration with Husker Du's vocalist Bob Mould. "Honestly, it sounds like if Husker Du wrote a four or five minute hit opus and then the Foo Fighters played it", said he.
The album's title and release date are yet unknown. Foo Fighters' previous studio effort, named Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace, hit the stores in 2007.
