Dave Grohl compared new Foo Fighters' record to live concertDave Grohl spoke about Foo Fighters' upcoming album Wasting Light. According to his words, the band kept live concerts in mind while working on the record. Even its tracklist is arranged as a setlist for the show.

"The new record is sequenced like a setlist. It all makes perfect sense to me. Even if they weren't in that order on the record, I think that's the order we'd put them in to play them", claimed he.

Earlier ex-Nirvana drummer revealed that the record would feature his former Nirvana's bandmate Krist Novoselic, as well as famous producer Butch Vig, who worked on Nirvana's 1991 album Nevermind.

"The last month and a half we've been in my garage recording totally old school analogue with Butch Vig. This whole project has been really cool because I haven't made a record with Butch in 20 years, almost exactly 20 years", said Dave Grohl.

Foo Fighters' previous studio effort, named Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace, hit the stores in 2007.
