Slipknot singer Corey Taylor revealed that he has recently collaborated with Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl. According to his words, it was produced by Nirvana's long-time collaborator Butch Vig.
"Huge checks off the Bucket List today- did a song with Dave Grohl and Butch Vig. Do the words "incredible" say enough about it?" he wrote on his Twitter account.
At the same time, Corey Taylor did not reveal any details of collaboration. It is also unknown when the song will be released.
Dave Grohl has recently recorded another duo – with members of 1980's rock band Ratt. Foo Fighters – who released their last studio effort Wasting Light in April – are ready to being the work on the next album. According to Dave Grohl, they want to release it in 2012.
Talking about plans for the future, he said: "We're not finished yet. There are still more shows to play, more songs to write, more albums to record, for years to come. I mean if you would have told me 17 years ago that in 2012 I would be writing songs for our eighth studio album...well".
