Nirvana's member and Foo Fighters' frontman Dave Grohl will star in an upcoming Muppet movie. He will portray himself, invited to become a drummer in a Muppets' orchestra.
Earlier it was announced that upcoming movie would feature appearance by Lady GaGa. Set to be premiered next Christmas, it will be first Muppet film since 1999’s Muppets From Space.
Dave Grohl has taken part in the work on album Michael, which features remastered versions of earlier unreleased songs by Michael Jackson. He contributed drums for the track (I Can't Make It) Another Day, which features guitar by another rock star, Lenny Kravitz.
