Dizzee Rascal has received Album Of The Year Award at the recent Music Producers Guild Awards ceremony. He was honored for his new studio effort Tongue N' Cheek, which hit the stores in September 2009.
Muse have won Single Of The Year prize for their song Uprising. The band’s frotman Matt Bellamy hit at famous producer Rick Rubin, saying that he taught him «how not to produce music».
The main honor of the ceremony, Producer Of The Year award, was given to Paul Epworth for his work on Friendly Fires’ eponymous album and Florence And The Machine’s debut studio effort Lungs.
English electronic duo Simian Mobile Disco received Remixers Of The Year award, while Paul Savage was named Breakthrough Producer.
