Dr. Dre apologized for Detox delaysDr. Dre apologized to his fans for numerous delays of his next studio album Detox. It happened during Eminem's gig in Detroit last week. Dr. Dre joined his good friend onstage to perform such tracks as Still Dre and Nuthin' But A G Thang – and was met by fans chanting "Detox".

Rapper replied by saying: "Sorry to make you wait. I'm coming".

Detox was originally set to be released in 2004, but has been delayed several times. Rapper usually explains the delays by his work on the albums of other artists – for example, he did not release Detox in 2009 because he was busy producing Eminem's album Relapse.

In spring Dr. Dre promised that Detox would definitely hit the stores this year.

Detox will become Dr. Dre's third and, according to the rapper, last studio album. His previous record, named 2001, hit the stores in 1999.

Eminem was also joined by 50 Cent and Jay-Z.
