Elton John said Eminem could be «a great example for others»

Sir Elton John claimed that Eminem’s struggle to overcome his drug addiction could be «a great example for others». Famous singer also said that he has helped rapper in this fight by giving him some advises: «I've been helping Eminem over the last 18 months and he's doing brilliantly».

Elton John, who had problems with drugs in the past, said he was always ready to render assistance to another person. «I'm there if people want my help. If people ask for help you tell them where to go but there's no point advising people if they don't want to do it», claimed he.

Last week Eminem released Relapse: Refill – the reissue of his last studio album Relapse, which has hit the stores this spring. Record features seven entirely new songs, including composition Taking My Ball, earlier released as a track for DJ Hero videogame, and single Forever, recorded together with Drake, Lil Wayne and Kanye West. Eminem’s upcoming album Relapse 2 is set to hit the stores next year.

Elton John’s last album, named The Captain & the Kid, hit the stores in 2006.
