Franz Ferdinand, Wolfmother and Avril Lavigne are among the acts featured on the Alice In Wonderland soundtrack. The movie, shot by Tim Burton, has a general cinema premiere today, on March 5.
The soundtrack album, titled Almost Alice, includes 16 tracks. Avril Lavigne has contributed the opening song Alice, while Australian hard rock band Wolfmother recorded the closing track Fell Down A Hole. Franz Ferdinand have written the composition named The Lobster Quadrille.
The Cure and Tokio Hotel are also among the artists who contributed to the soundtrack of Alice In Wonderland. Robert Smith and his band made a cover on the song Very Good Advice, which was taken from 1951’s Disney version of Alice In Wonderland. Tokio Hotel recorded a duo with Estonian singer Kerli titled Strange.
