Jack White made musicians from his two bands work togetherJack White announced that musicians from his bands The Dead Weather and The Raconteurs would work together on the new album by Wanda Jackson, legendary American rockabilly singer. White himself is producing this record, he also will play guitar on several tracks.

According to Jack White, the first single from upcoming album is ready and will hit the stores on February 8. It features covers on two songs – You Know I'm No Good by Amy Winehouse and Shakin' All Over, originally recorded by Johnny Kidd And The Pirates.

Wanda Jackson is known as one of the first popular female rockabilly and country singers. The list of her hits includes such songs as Tears Will Be The Chaser For Your Wine, A Woman Lives For Love and Fancy Satin Pillows.

Another Jack White’s band, The White Stripes, was recently announced to release its first ever live album.
