Former The White Stripes frontman Jack White spoke about his upcoming debut solo album Blunderbuss that will be released next week. Singer claimed that earlier he never thought about releasing a record under his own name.
"I didn't really even think of recording under my own name for a long time, I thought I've got the rest of my life to do that", explained Jack White.
He also said that Blunderbuss was made as a solo album "accidentally" – because one musician did not arrive at the recording session.
"A few months ago, we had a session booked and someone didn't show up, so I said, 'I guess we'll do some of my songs'... It kickstarted the whole process", claimed Jack White.
