Led Zeppelin's guitarist Jimmy Page claimed that soon he would start working on the new solo album. Upcoming record will be released by IE management company, but it is unknown when the studio effort would hit the stores.
Jimmy Page already revealed that he felt anxious about entering the studio. He also claimed that the album would feature a number of notable collaborations.
«I'm just looking forward to making some music and surprising people with it. It won't be just teaming up with lots of people who are big names. I've got an idea of something which I've had for a long time and now's the time to do it», claimed Led Zeppelin's guitarist.
On June 11 Jimmy Page has been inducted into the Mojo Hall of Fame. He was honored at the magazine’s awards ceremony. Prizes were also given to Midlake, Devo, The Stone Roses (Classic Album Award) and others.
Another Led Zeppelin member, drummer Jason Bonham recently announced that he has started recording an album with the band Black Country Communion, which also features Black Sabbath and Deep Purple’s singer Glenn Hughes, Dream Theater’s keyboardist Derek Sherinian and famous blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa.
