John Lennon’s unknown record was sold at the auctionA recording of a supposedly drunk John Lennon was sold at the auction in Los Angeles. On this previously unheared tape The Beatles member is trying to cover Lloyd Price's song Just Because, improvising lyrics.

The six-minute record was made in autumn 1973. It was sold for $30,000.

The Beatles covered Just Because on their album Rock 'n' Roll, released in 1975.
