Kanye West and Amy Winehouse are the main favourites of the Grammy Awards 2008 – Kanye has got eight nominations while Amy has got six. Both singers received nods for Album of the Year – West for Graduation and Winehouse for Back To Black. Winehouse also earned nominations for Best New Artist of the Year (along with Feist and Paramore).
The White Stripes earned four nominations including Best Alternative Album with Icky Thump. Foo Fighters, Jay-Z, Paul McCartney and Timbaland received two nominations.
