Kanye West prefers British music actsKanye West has compared American and British music industry. Rapper claimed that US scene has spawned more commercially successful bands, but UK has given the world a lot of "very special" acts.

"We have had amazing bands like Nirvana and Guns N' Roses but it's the British who have had the cream with The Beatles and The Rolling Stones setting the standard", said Kanye West.

Rapper also compared The Beatles to Coldplay, adding that Chris Martin is a "genius" as well as John Lennon.

"I love Coldplay, and I honestly think they are on the same level as The Beatles. In 30 years, when Coldplay are old men, people will look back and say that these guys were more talented than The Beatles", said he.

Kanye West's new studio album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is set to hit the stores on November 22. According to rapper's words, the record features La Roux's Elly Jackson, Jay-Z, MIA, Alicia Keys and Mos Def, as well as John Legend, Kid Cudi, Bon Iver, No ID and others.

Earlier Kanye West claimed that his next studio effort would be "one of the best records in hip-hop". "It's the ultimate album. It will be one of the best records in hip-hop. You know you can trust me", wrote he in a message on his Twitter account.
