Keith Richards was asked to edit his autobiography bookThe Rolling Stones' management company has asked band's guitarist Keith Richards to edit several chapters in his new autobiography book. Titled Life, it is set to hit the stores in October. Officials who already read the book have decided that some parts in it were "too revealing".

According to the reports, Richards has been asked to rewrite the chapters devoted to Mick Jagger.

In his book Keith Richards tells not only about himself, but also about the life of other The Rolling Stones' members. A source close to the band told Daily Mail newspaper: "Keith once said he was finding it difficult to remember things when he first sat down to start writing it. But his memory seems pretty good. It's going to be explosive when it comes out".

The Rolling Stones' guitarist Ronnie Wood already released autobiography in 2007, while Mick Jagger is currently working on his own book.

Meanwhile Mick Jagger promised that the band would start the recording of the new material in the nearest future. Singer claimed that he has written a lot of songs, and assured that Keith Richards and other The Rolling Stones members would be glad to join him in studio.

The Rolling Stones' last studio album A Bigger Bang hit the stores in 2005.
