Krauss and Plant spoke abot their allianceFormer Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant and American singer Alison Krauss told journalists about how they worked togeather. Their album Raising Sand was realesed last week.

Alison has already worked with such artists as Sting, Brad Paisley, James Taylor, Dolly Parton and Alan Jackson. «I think of it as a window into some other world», - she described her work with Robert Plant and other musicians.

Plant himself said that his vision on the album was a little more lightweight – but «Alison wanted something more serious, with more color and shade». He added that they both had new experience – Plant had to sing in a manner he never tried before, and Krauss had to sing songs «that didn't always fit her».
