Oren Moverman, director of the upcoming Kurt Cobain's biopic, spoke about his movie. He described the film as "raw and chaotic", adding that it would give more insight view on Cobain's life than Nirvana fans are used to.
"People know the shortcut version - he took a lot of heroin, wrote Smells Like Teen Spirit, became the biggest rock star in the world and killed himself. Those known things about him are to me the least interesting", said he.
"It'll be raw and chaotic which is what Cobain's life was like", he added.
Oren Moverman directed Bob Dylan's biopic I'm Not There, and was later nominated for an Oscar with this movie.
His new film, titled All Apologies, is produced by Cobain's wife Courtney Love. The movie is based on Kurt Cobain's biography book called Heavier Than Heaven.
