Lady GaGa paid tribute to late singer Etta James. Born This Way star claimed that she feels very sorry about her death and promised to "have one whole quart of brandy" for her. She also said that Etta James had "one of the greatest voices".
"Tonight I will have one whole quart of brandy for Etta. One of the greatest voices of all time. Thanks for the many romantic moments your music created", wrote Lady GaGa on her Twitter account.
Recently Beyonce has joined the list of artists who expressed their regrets concerning Etta James' death. Singer claimed that she feels "very saddened". She added: "This is a huge loss. Etta James was one of the greatest vocalists of our time. I am so fortunate to have met such a queen. Her musical contributions will last a lifetime".
The list of artists who paid tribute to the dead singer also features such artists as Kings Of Leon, Aretha Franklin, Azealia Banks, Katy B and Nile Rodgers.
Etta James came to fame in the second half of 50-s and is known for such hits as Dance With Me, Henry, At Last, Tell Mama, I'd Rather Go Blind and others. She performed in many genres, including blues, rock and roll, soul, gospel and jazz.
