Leona Lewis’s album named Spirit has officialy set a new British record for the fasting-selling debut album. The disk was sold 375,000 copies last week. Previously the first place belonged to Arctic Monkeys with their record Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not, realesed in 2006.
Spirit is also the fourth-fastest selling record of all time in Britain, it is behind Oasis's Be Here Now, Coldplay's X&Y and Dido's Life For Rent.
