Liam Gallagher has revealed some information about his upcoming album. Ex-Oasis singer described the record as a mixture of genres, adding that it was inspired by David Bowie and T-Rex. «There's a bit of T-Rex and Bowie on there, I’m telling you there's a good mix of psychedelia but there’s some good rock 'n' roll tunes on there as well», claimed he.
At the same tine Liam claimed that new record would hit the stores only in 2011. «We're going to record halfway through April, we've got three weeks to do some tunes and if it's all cool we'll go back in June and finish it off. I'd like to have a tune out in October and then put another one out after Christmas and then the album in the summer», said he.
Earlier Gallagher claimed he was sure that new album would be better than anything he released with Oasis. «We'll do it in a different kind of way now. I'll try and reconnect with a new band, new songs and I'm feeling confident about the songs. I'm feeling a million per cent confident that they could be better than Oasis», said Liam.
Oasis’ last record Dig Out Your Soul hit the stores in October 2008.
