Liam Gallagher revealed details about the work on the debut album of his new band Beady Eye. Titled Different Gear, Still Speeding, the record hit the stores in February. According to the singer, it partly featured reworked versions of the songs from Oasis era.
For example, track Roller – debut single from the record – was written in 2001. Even the band's lead guitarist and Liam's brother Noel praised it as "potentially Number One single".
At the same time, Different Gear, Still Speeding does not feature the track Yellow Tail, which was written during the work on the record. Beady Eye is currently using this song as an intro during its gigs.
Earlier Liam Gallagher claimed that Beady Eye are already thinking about their next effort. According to the singer, they would like to start the recording right after the end of current tour.
"We've got lots of songs, man. As soon as the tour wraps up we're gonna write another record. We're not going to stop", said he.
