Lil' Wayne, who is currently serving one-year term in jail, claimed that he is missing his fans and claimed that he can not wait to see them. He is even thinking about launching a tour across US as soon as possible, claims the statement released by his spokesperson.
It cites Lil' Wayne as saying: "Thank you everyone for support, I can not wait to get out of here and see you all. I am tired of being locked up here".
Last week it was announced that Lil' Wayne's highly anticipated album Tha Carter IV will hit the stores on the same day when rapper himself will be released from prison – November 5. This information was revealed by Mack Maine, president of Lil Wayne's record label Young Money Entertainment.
Lil' Wayne was put in prison this March for illegal gun possession. Rapper was caught in July 2007, when police found a .40 caliber semi-automatic loaded handgun in his car. Lil Wayne claimed he was not guilty, but during the hearing in October, he confessed that this gun belonged to him.
Lil' Wayne already released one album this year, named Rebirth.
