Linkin Park and Slash helped to release charity album for JapanFormer Guns N' Roses frontman Slash and Linkin Park have taken part in the release of the charity Download To Donate album. All money from its sales will be donated to people who suffered from recent earthquakes in Japan.

The album also features Enrique Iglesias, Pendulum, Angels And Airwaves and others. It was inspired by Save The Children fund which is gathering money to help children in need.

Justin Bieber, Rihanna and U2 were named among the artists who will contribute to another Japan charity album. Released by Universal Music record label, it is set to hit the stores by the end of this week. Bon Jovi and Nicki Minaj were also announced to be featured on the album.

Charity gig aimed to raise money for victims of Japan earthquakes is set to take place in London next month. It will feature Beady Eye, Primal Scream, Paul Weller and other artists.
