Lou Reed compared Metallica to FerrariLou Reed claimed that working with Metallica on their joint album Lulu was a great pleasure for him. Singer said that despite the record has got mixed reviews he likes it very much, while collaborating with Metallica is like "getting a Ferrari for free" for him.

"They're into heavy metal, I'm into heavy guitar, so it was no big stretch. They were so ready to go, it was thrilling. It's like someone gave you a Ferrari for free. It was just a great opportunity to play together. The way we did this is that if everybody didn't agree, we didn't do it. It wasn't majority rules — it was all together or nothing", claimed he.

Recently Metallica have posted two new songs online, titled Hate Train and Just A Bullet Away. Both tracks were recorded during the work on the band's last to date album Death Magnetic, but were not included in final tracklisting.

The tracks are set to be featured on upcoming album Beyond Magnetic that features previously unreleased Metallica songs from different times.
