Metallica, Green Day and Eminem were nominated for the Inked True Color Awards, which benefits celebrities with tattoos, as well as tattoo makers. They will compete in Best Band/Artist category together with Slayer, Linkin Park, Lil Wayne, Gallows, Fall Out Boy and Good Charlotte.
The awards ceremony will take place in Las Vegas on October 3. It will be followed by a concert – however, it is unknown if nominated artists will perform.
One of the organizers, Jim McDonald said: «We are excited about honoring the tattoo community with an award show and concert that not only showcases some of the best talents, but also to those who made the community what it is today».
