Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich revealed the band's plans concerning next studio album. Musician claimed that he and his mates has become "hungry for new music" and that they plan to start the work on the record in spring 2011.
"There's a bunch of balls in the air for 2011. But I think the main one is we really want to get back to writing again. We haven't really written since, what, 2006, 2007 and we want to get back to kind of just being creative again", said he.
Lars Ulrich also claimed that they would like to repeat Big Four world tour, which took place this year featuring four famous metal bands – Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax.
