Legendary singer Michael Jackson has died from a heart attack yesterday, on June 25. The King of Pop was rushed to the hospital in Los Angeles, where team of doctors spent about an hour trying to resuscitate him. However, all attempts were unsuccessful – according to the reports, Jackson already had no pulse when he arrived at the clinic.
The official statement released by hospital says: «His personal physician, who was with him at the time, attempted to resuscitate Jackson. Upon arriving at the hospital, a team of doctors, attempted to resuscitate him for a period of more than one hour but were unsuccessful».
Michael Jackson was pronounced dead by medics at 2:26pm. He was 50 years old. A number of celebrities have already contributed to his death. Madonna has said she «can’t stop crying» over the death of Michael Jackson. Famous rapper and producer P. Diddy claimed that he would «miss him»: «Michael Jackson showed me that you can actually see the beat. He made the music come to life! He made me believe in magic».
A number of stars who contributed Michael Jackson’s death also include Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Ludacris and others.
Michael Jackson has started his music career at the age of eleven together with his brothers in the band Jackson 5. Jackson has released a number of record breaking albums, such as Thriller (1982), Bad (1987) and HIStory (1995).
