Michael Jackson has topped the list of the highest-earning dead celebrities for the second year in a row. During October 2010-October 2011 singer's estate has generated approximately $170 million (last year Jackson got the first place with $288 million).
Apart from music sales, Michael Jackson's estate also receives half of the profits from the Cirque Du Soleil production Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour that was premiered this month.
Second place belongs to Elvis Presley with income of $55 million. Other musicians in the Top-10 are The Beatles singer John Lennon (fifth with $12 million) and Jimi Hendrix (ninth with $9 million).
Recently it was revealed that Michael Jackson's brothers are going to arrange the gig in memory of their sibling. According to several news websites, it will take place this December in Japan and feature performances by members of Michael Jackson's family.
It was not announced if the show is set to include appearances by Randy and Jermaine Jacksons. Two brothers of the late King Of Pop refused to participate in another tribute gig, that took place at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on October 8.
