Muse are not going to write music for the movies anymoreMuse shared their impressions of working on the soundtracks for the Twilight trilogy. The band has donated songd for all three episodes of the saga. According to the bassist Chris Wolstenholme, it helped to rise Muse popularity in the USA.

However, according to his words, the band would not like to write music for the next Twilight episode, or any other movie, because it is like «selling your soul».

Wolstenholme claimed: «It's very difficult in America because you don't have anything like Radio 1, nothing is national. You have to take every opportunity you get over there and sometimes you have to sell your soul».

Muse contributed song Supermassive Black Hole for the first Twilight episode and I Belong To You for the second one.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, the third episode, was premiered on June 30. It features Muse song Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever), as well as Jonathan Low by Vampire Weekend, Rolling In On A Burning Tire by The Dead Weather, Let's Get Lost – a collaboration between Beck and Bat For Lashes and others.
