Albums by Oasis have been voted into first and second places in a new chart of the best British albums. The survey was held by the music magazine Q and the online-retailer HMV. The Manchester group's 1994 debut, Definitely Maybe, became first, and the follow-up (What's The Story) Morning Glory? came second.
Radiohead's OK Computer was third in the poll, followed by The Beatles' Revolver and the Stone Roses' self-titled disk. «It's clear that, having polled three times more votes than any other act, Oasis are undoubtedly the nation's most loved band», said Paul Rees, the Q editor.
