Babyshambles leader Pete Doherty admitted that he cheated drugs test before he was incarcerated in prison for breaching probation: «I was pretty much back into the heroin cycle. The only time I tested clean was when I used someone else's analysis».
However, Doherty called reports stating that he took heroin in jail were «complete rubbish». He said that he wish the prison had reacted on newspapers reports: «It's their policy to ignore them. I kind of wish they'd said something».
Doherty explained that he was put on a drug treatment programme in jail where he received heroin replacement drug, which he stopped taking before being released from jail.
