Pete Doherty may record a song together with ex-Arctic Monkeys musicianBritish rock band Mongrel announced that its debut album will feature several guest appearances. Among them are American poet Saul Williams, band M.I.A. and Pete Doherty, who was called «a good flavor for the album».

Mongrel was founded by former Arctic Monkeys bassist Andy Nicholson. The band also includes current Arctic Monkeys member Matt Helders, Jon McClure and Joe Moskow from Reverend And The Makers, Babyshambles guitarist Drew McConnell and London-based rapper Lowkey.
